The snowshoe hike was an amazing family activity. The trails are super well maintained and marked, the views are gorgeous, and since you can do it at your own pace, there is plenty of time for snowball fight, snow angels, sit on a log to take on the beauty.. we went with a 10, 12, and 14 year old. It was easy and fun for all. Super recommend!
Had the opportunity to snowshoe at the Nordic Center in Breck. Can't say enough good things about this place. Equipment, service, well-marked and groomed trails. Definitely recommend. They also have a really nice cafe and a small store just in case you forgot a hat or want to get some new (or warmer) outdoor wear.
Great Staff. Needs more instruction on Snow Shoe. First time snow shoeing and the staff was great, however the staff person (young girl) flew through the instructions on the snow shoe and trails. We had to figure out how to wear the shoe by ourselves and where to go. There should be more assistance.
